Coal Pulverizer BowlRPM has extensive experience overlaying pulverizer mill tables of all sizes and styles. We can rebuild tables in-house or on-site depending on your needs. We also offer cast-steel table replacements as well as overlayed table segments guaranteed to fit.

RPM & Associates can rebuild worn coal pulverizer tables on-site at your plant. The figures below outline the typical process that we follow when rebuilding coal pulverizer tables on-site.

  • RPM Staff Checks In With Plant Contact and Completes Any Required Orientation and Safety Tasks
  • RPM Staff Sets Up Equipment (welding heads, rotary ground, limit switches, auxiliary drive and portable ventilation equipment) and Inspects Mill Table for Anomalies
  • Worn Table Profile is Measured With Metal Template Before Repairs Are Initiated
  • Required Pre-Repairs Are Performed Prior to Firing Up Automatic Welding System

  • Perform Required Automatic Welding Until Table Profile Meets Metal Template
  • Notify Customer for Final Inspection, Approval, and Acceptance
  • Exchange Appropriate Data for RPM “Pulverizer Wear Parts Monitoring Program” with Customer On-Site Designated Representative
  • Pack Up Welding Equipment, Remove Any Safety Locks, and Return to RPM

RPM & Associates can also hardface new table segments at our shop. The figures below outline the typical process that we follow when hardfacing coal pulverizer table segments at RPM's shop.

  • Rebuilt Segments Have Double The Wear Life of New Segments

  • New Table Segments Shipped to RPM

  • RPM Assembles Table Segments and Applies 3 or 4 Passes of Hardfacing to New Segments

  • New Hardfaced Segments Are Post-Repaired and Remarked With Sequencing Numbers That Are Used For Assembly at Plant
